Arcadian (2024)

“Arcadian” is a 2024 post-apocalyptic action horror film directed by Benjamin Brewer and written by Michael Nilon. It stars Nicolas Cage as Paul, a father and his two teenage sons, Joseph (Jaeden Martell) and Thomas (Maxwell Jenkins), trying to survive in a post-apocalyptic world.

After a pandemic wipes out much of the population and causes civilization to collapse, Paul and his two sons live on an abandoned farm. During the day, they scavenge for supplies; at night, they hide from monstrous creatures that fear the light. When Thomas fails to return home before sunset, Paul ventures out to find his son, leading to a series of events that test their family’s bond and their will to survive.
