Although the long wait for the release of All of Us Are Dead season 2 is frustrating, it is not uncommon for Korean web series to take two years or more to release new seasons. I wasn’t surprised that All of Us Are Dead was renewed, but the show could have worked as a limited series.
The first season of All of Us Are Dead consisted of 12-hour-long episodes that were released all at once. The experience of binge-watching the zombie K-drama was similar to watching six zombie movies in a row, but the show never became boring or predictable.
All of Us Are Dead is one of my favorite Netflix K-dramas, and while I can’t wait for season 2 to finally premiere, there are some challenges the show will have to overcome.
